With over 35 years of commercial real estate experience, Deano Vass is widely recognized for his expertise in site selection, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and property management. Based in Williston, ND, since 2014, he has focused on industrial, warehouse, and corporate housing projects across the Bakken oil region, working with companies like Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Oneok, and WestCon.

Earlier in his career, Deano became the “go-to” agent in the Chicagoland area for national brands such as Walgreens, CVS, Dunkin’, Verizon Wireless, McDonald's, and Chase Bank. He has managed over 500 real estate transactions and overseen the development and construction of multiple retail centers anchored by major tenants. His work includes coordinating zoning, site planning, and permitting from acquisition through final approvals.

Deano has also worked extensively with REO departments, handling the disposition of restaurant, retail, and hospitality properties for one of Chicago’s largest privately held banking groups. His experience includes assembling multi-parcel sites for commercial and mixed-use developments, managing 250+ residential units, and navigating complex municipal processes.

He holds an Associate of Science degree in Business from Kishwaukee College and earned the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation in 1977. Deano also taught real estate courses at Oakton Community College and Kishwaukee College, and served on the Real Estate Advisory Committee at Oakton.
