Dan brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the Watford City community. His approach is shaped by a unique blend of disciplined service and real-world perspective, honed during seven years in the U.S. Air Force at Grand Forks AFB, ND, where he specialized in working on nuclear missiles. During his service, he was awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal for his impactful contributions during the 500-year flood.

In 2002, Dan became a licensed Realtor in South Dakota, where he spent over a decade navigating various market conditions and developing a deep understanding of client needs. His time in South Dakota solidified his passion for real estate and sharpened his ability to guide clients through complex transactions.

In 2012, Dan returned to North Dakota, where he married, welcomed his first child, and ultimately let his license lapse in 2014 to focus on family. In 2018, Dan and his family were living at the site of a tornado touchdown, and they took an active role in aiding the recovery and cleanup efforts. Around this time, he was also diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (PPMS), a challenge that has only strengthened his resilience and determination to serve others.

In 2020, Dan joined Proven Realty as an Inside Sales Agent, where he was dedicated to providing exceptional support to the brokerage's agents and prospective clients. Inspired by his wife Kayla’s success in the real estate field and his desire to once again help families across western North Dakota, Dan followed her encouragement and obtained his North Dakota real estate license in 2025.
